Rate Structure

I work on a fixed fee basis, quoting for a job up front and only changing the final price if the scope of the project changes. That fixed fee includes unlimited revisions – within reason – to the work I do for you prior to payment. I usually don’t require a deposit for small projects, but once the budget gets above $500 I ask for a 25% advance fee.

Typical rates

None of these are exact, as I quote on a job-by-job basis, but they should give you an idea of the costs involved in hiring me. The final quote I give for any project takes into consideration factors such as length and the amount of research needed.

· Rewrite of copy for a small website (5-10 pages): $300-$500

· Copywriting from scratch for a small website: $600-$800

Larger websites are quoted according to size. If you anticipate that your job will need work in a number of different media – say, website, brochure and sales letter – I should be able to offer a discounted rate.

· Sales letter for promoting E-books: $500

· Writing and E-book with all content provided: $350

· Writing an E-book from scratch: $800-$1,200 depending on extent of research required

· Business brochure: $350-$500

· Mailing letter or flyer: $150 – $500

· Press release: $80

· Articles and features: anywhere between $75 and $150 per article, depending on length, subject matter and research required

· Keyword rich Twitter posts: $150 for 50 posts

I receive inquiries for my services regularly, from a number of parties, some of whom may just be shopping and others who are committed to growing their business. Obviously, my services will not suit everybody. If you are not in a financial position or unsure about your goals to seriously pursue excellence for your business, I will not be in a position to help you. However, if you are ready and willing to see your business succeed…

Please consider the following carefully:

1.You are entitled unlimited revisions of your copy within reason for all projects. Revisions are                 adjustments or addition of details to the existing copy. They are not a change in strategy.                  Major changes such as a new strategy are considered as a new project, and incur a new fee.


2.On commencement of the project, in the unlikely event that you decide to cancel your project before the copy is completed, there will be a 50% cancellation fee (50% of the entire project fee) incurred. At my discretion, you may transfer your fee to a mutually agreed upon new project commencing within 30 days of the cancellation.


3.You take final responsibility for any content that I provide is free of errors. It is your responsibility to ensure that the copy that I provide is accurate and compliant in all respects.
